PHRESH: Connectivity in acute medical care

The PHRESH project aims to improve health risk assessment, emergency care and treatment by integrating advanced technologies.

PHRESH

PHRESH is a speech-to-text transcription tool for ambulances, aimed at acute situations that occur in the ambulance, focusing mainly on strokes. In the ambulance, the patient is monitored with an EEG to get clear information about the situation and to choose the right hospital. A crucial decision, as this is very time-sensitive.

This tool can:

  • Identify all persons present in the ambulance.
  • Provide a complete summary of the conversation that took place during the journey to the hospital.
  • Transfer the report to the electronic patient file, so that the hospital receives all information in real time.
  • Save the care provider crucial time and a lot of manual work by automating this process.

The PHRESH project aims to improve health risk assessment, emergency care and treatment by integrating advanced technologies. This includes sensors, real-time analytics and advanced data and network connectivity, with privacy and accuracy as a priority. The project focuses on connectivity in emergency, acute medical care and the subsequent coordination of care teams.
