TREAT: Empowering patients with personalised self-care
TREAT aims to increase patient self-care in managing non-communicable diseases.

The TREAT project addresses the growing number of non-communicable diseases (NCDs), which account for the majority of global deaths. TREAT aims to increase patient self-care in managing NCDs, including diabetes, heart attacks, cancer and chronic respiratory diseases.
The main objectives of TREAT are:
- Creating a unified data platform with data from wearables, medical devices and diaries, enabling holistic health management and reducing fragmented care.
- AI-driven personalized management through accurate recommendations using AI, enabling patients to effectively manage their health and improve outcomes.
- Improving patient engagement using AI to improve adherence to medical advice, leading to better health outcomes.
These objectives focus on the patient's daily life, shifting health management from the physician to the patient.
